25,000 years. That's how fancy civilization stood and what was civilization in a galaxy far, far away but the Galactic Republic? In all that report, the monastic Jedi Order with their unfailing confidence in the Force was the guardian of peace and rightfulness throughout the Republic.
It was hubris or perhaps it is simply the way of all things that there be a start and an end. And George Lucas' Star Wars romance documents the end quite a lot. The end of civilization. The end of the Jedi. But it was also a detective story. It was a story of how one life could have catastrophic consequences for the Galaxy. It was very na?ve story of one man's life. his childhood, his trials as a minor man, his love, his knighthood and his thundering disappointing from grace because of his lust for power, his bluster, his hubris and how he rose from the ashes to redemption because of make the beast with two backs, of family. Star Wars is nothing more than the vital spark story of Anakin Skywalker.
