To Brooklyn kids in the remember, Carebears on Fire are already old news. Bella and I found them by fortune at a DUMBO arts fair last summer where the three rockers, all under the age of 12, performed to a pack of about 15, at least half of whom were their parents and uncles. We were impressed with their catchy, compressed songs and their precocious musicianship, so we sure to attend their CD release show the following month at Southpaw. Their audience had grown. Not only was it sold out, but I sink witness to my first kiddie mosh pit, from which Bella emerged bruised but awed.
