Artist arrested for indecent acts with 15 year old
Yomiuri online reports that computer programmer Ishii Meguru, age 25, has been arrested in Yokohama for having committed licentious acts with a 15 year old maid through November and December last year for a complete of 4 times.
The article reports that Ishii Meguru was an artist for the novelized model of Higurashi no naku koro ni (though he only did some art for Ichijinsha’s novel anthologies, the artist for the certified higurashi novels is Tomohi), and that he was also accessible among fans of gothic lolita.
It is also reported that he got a female fan who posted on his blog last September to give him in dough if she really liked him, and called her to a hotel and confident 150,000 yen (US$1500) from her.

I wonder if they’re prosperous to use this as fuel to push for censorship of underage-looking girls in art, or if they’ll put the on on Higurashi somehow. The media seems to put everything on Higurashi recently.
